Valerie Turner Fleurantin earned an A.A. at BC and a BS in Computer Information Systems at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She is the CEO at VF Health Fitness Solutions. As the owner she develops and implements business strategies, designs classes to match the skills of participants, builds and cultivates positive relationships with students, and more. Valerie was accepted into one of the premier social impact programs in Minnesota: FINNOVATION Lab Fellowship Program. They recognized her passion and potential to become a leader of social impact.

Diasmene Gaspard earned her AS from BC, her BS in Nursing Science and her MS in Nursing, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse from Nova Southeastern University. She is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, which is a 332-bed not for profit hospital. Here she works in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine. Diasmene has over 15 years of clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse in various capacities from critical care, telemetry, and correctional medicine.

Jenny Gervil earned her A.A. at BC and her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida Atlantic University. She then earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Florida A&M University. Today, she is a Pharmacist and a member of Walgreen’s Clinical Response Team for COVID-19, as well as an active healthcare volunteer at FAMU.

Tanya Hylton earned her A.A. at BC, her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Florida Atlantic University and her M.S. in Holistic Nutrition at the American College of Healthcare Sciences. She is the Founder/CEO of Veganvibezonly LLC as well as ChromeLife LLC. VeganVibezOnly focuses on providing a source of accurate and reliable answers to questions that pertain to your health. She is also the Special Projects Officer at Concerned African Women Inc. where she facilitates weekly workshops and ensures attainment of all established goals and objectives.

Nadia Jimenez, LCSW, Ph.D. earned her A.A. from BC, a B.S.W from FAU, a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University, a Master's in Educational Leadership from Walden University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling from Newburgh University. She is widely known in our community for her renown work with those involved in the MSD tragedy in Parkland. She owns her own practice, Counsel NJ, LLC and is the Clinical Director as well as a Psychotherapist.

Iryna Kasumova started off at Broward College where she earned her BSN. She then earned her master's degree in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Florida. She is a Nurse Practitioner at Healogics, Inc. Iryna has experience in neurosurgery, critical care/cardiovascular, orthopedic, wound care, and dermatology. She has 6 years of Hospital and Clinic Registered Nurse experience and 2 years of Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner experience, First Assist.

Latoya Kinsey earned her A.A.S. at BC in Vision Care Technology. She then continued her education and earned her bachelor’s and master’s in Health Science at NSU and is currently earning her Doctorate of Health Science at NSU. Latoya is the Optician and Owner of Top Notch Eyewear Inc. as well as the Chief Executive Officer at LK Family Enterprises.

Ekaterina Kostioukhina earned her A.A. at BC, her B.S. at Florida Atlantic University, her M.D. at the University of Miami, and her M.A. in Psychology from Harvard Extension School. She is the Extreme Environments and Space Medicine Consultant at Medical Society for Optimization of Human Performance in Space Environments. She is a traveling doctor with plenty of years of experience in the medical industry. She says, “I am on a mission to explore the art of medicine at different hospital systems and in different geographical locations.”

Dr. Lenchus earned as A.A. degree at BC in pre-pharmacy, his B.S. degree from UF in pharmacy, and his DO from NSU. "Not a day passes that I don't reflect on my education at Broward College, and how our specific program made such a strong impact on the community, and how the strong foundation of my classes provided me with the skills to skyrocket my career".

Dr. Jessica Leo earned her A.A. at BC, her Bachelor’s, Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida and her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic. She is the Owner at Light of Life Chiropractic, LLC. Here she performs thorough chiropractic consultation and examination, therapies such as ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, therapeutic exercises and manual/soft tissue therapy and more. She has previously traveled to India to provide Chiropractic care to children and adults alike and has volunteered at Broward Public Library Foundation.
