Athletica Health & Fitness
Monica Vera earned an AA at BC and a bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management at Florida Atlantic University. She is a Water Aerobics Instructor at Athletica Health & Fitness. Here she leads group exercise classes with appropriate verbal instructions and clear patterns of movement, and instructs members on basic strength training principles and exercise techniques. She started off at Athletica Health & Fitness as a Personal Trainer and recently earned the position of a Water Aerobics Instructor.
Cleveland Clinic Florida
Kristina is a former U.S. Coast Guard Airman, she earned her Associate of Science in Nursing and will soon graduate with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing by the end of 2020. With great pride, she recently shared the following with Dr. Sara Turpel, our Dean of Nursing: "We opened a COVID unit recently, and knowing we have at risk nurses on our unit, I volunteered to be placed permanently in the COVID unit, to help aid in them floating to a safer floor.” She credits Broward College for giving her the courage and confidence to caring for patients at the highest standard.

Randee Viena earned her A.A. in Biology at BC. She then continued her education at Florida International University where she received her B.S.N. as well as her B.S. in Biology and Psychology. She is currently a Registered Nurse at Memorial Healthcare System where she works hard to take care of her patients.
AdventHealth
Armenda Vil earned an A.A. at Broward College, a bachelor’s in Health Care Administration/Management, and she is working towards earning a M.S. in Health Informatics at the University of Central Florida. She is a Quality Analyst at AdventHealth. Here she started off as a Financial Clearance Specialist and worked her way through 3 positions to get to where she is now. Armenda is an experienced financial professional with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry.
Wilson Health & Wellness, LLC
Sherry Wilson earned an A.S. at BC. She then earned a B.S. in Registered Nursing at Barry University, and a M.S. in Nursing, Specialty in Health Care Leadership & Management at Walden University. She is the Healthcare Specialist at Wilson Health & Wellness, LLC. She assists people in taking back control of their overall health and wellness while also providing them opportunities to establish and develop their own financial health and stability. Sherry has a long history of working in the healthcare industry and is a former Marine. She is also a Mentor for Mission United at United way of Broward County.
