Alumni Spotlight

Francine Colas earned an AS at BC and continued her education at Florida International University where she earned a BS in Registered Nursing and a Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner. She is now working towards earning a Ph.D. in Registered Nursing. She is a Public Health Instructor I at West Coast University as well as the CEO & President of Colas Empire LLC. As a Public Health Instructor and PhD Candidate she is researching ways to improve health outcomes for children and youth with special health care needs. She has plenty of experience in the medical industry and is also a part of organizations like the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Florida Nurses Association.
