She then continued her education at the University of Colorado where she earned a B.A. in English Language and Literature, Art History and a master's in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. About her time at BC, Betsy shares, “Those were happy days. I was only 17 years old when I started attending Broward Community College, now Broward College, which I think is great.” Her degree and experience at BC was foundational for her future professional track: “When I graduated from Broward Community College, I earned an A.S. degree and my A.R.R.T. license which gave me a good career path to managing ultrasound departments, returning to school for my undergrad and graduate degrees, to leading nonprofit orgs.” Today she is a Major Gifts Officer at Denver Rescue Mission, which is a full-service Christian charity in the Rocky Mountain region. Betsy is also the Owner & CEO of Boudreau Consulting, LLC. and she provides nonprofit and for-profit consulting services including interim executive management, fundraising, marketing, grant-writing, and more.
