Broward College Foundation, Inc.

Since 1983 Broward College has recognized outstanding alumni who have made significant contributions in professional, civic, public and philanthropic arenas. Past honorees include Florence Nightingale Medal recipient Susan Hassmiller, Winterfest CEO Lisa Scott-Founds and former Broward County Commissioner and attorney George Platt. Broward College has grown significantly since 1983 and so has the number of our alumni who are distinguishing themselves in their professions and our community. The new Broward College Alumni Hall of Distinction allows us to honor even more alumni across a broader range of categories. The honorees will be recognized on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the first Broward College Alumni Hall of Distinction Reception and Awards at Signature Grand in Davie, FL.
