Adrian Marrero

Adrian Marrero got his start at BC and earned his A.A. and is now continuing his education at Georgia Institute of Technology. He is currently the Co-Founder and Director of Flight Experience at FlyTopPilot. FlyTopPilot provides the most realistic flight experience for entertainment and training with the latest VR simulator technology available. Adrian manages the creation of flight experiences, a team of SIM Instructors and development of training materials.

David Millar earned his A.A. at BC, his bachelor's degree, Mechanical Engineering, and his Master of Engineering at the University of Florida. He is the Distribution Line Engineer at Enercon Services, Inc. Enercon is a multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental firm focused on empowering our people and partnering with our clients to support the safe and efficient production, delivery and use of energy. In 2015 David was one of the 90 recipients of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, which is for students transferring from two-year community colleges to four-year baccalaureate institutions in the country.

Dr. Teresa Monsue earned an A.A. in Astronomy at Broward College. She then continued her education and earned a B.S. in Physics from Florida Atlantic University, a Master’s in Physics from Fisk University, and a Doctor of Philosophy, Physics from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Monsue started at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a Harriet G. Jenkins NASA Fellow, Graduate Student Researcher and then became a Post-Doctoral Researcher (contractor), The Catholic University of America (SDO - NASA GSFC) and a NASA Postdoctoral Fellow (NPP-USRA). As an Astro/Helio Physicist she works with data from high cadence TESS and Swift observations to study flares on other stars and to observe any oscillations produced by flares.

Uchenna F. Okoye earned an A.A. at Broward College, a bachelor’s in Journalism at the University of Florida, and an M.S. in Computer Science at DePaul University. She is a Software Engineer on the Android Automotive Embedded team at Google. She started at Google as a Startup Success Manager for, Google For Startups Africa and then became a Software Engineer. Uchenna is also the Founder of BlackGem Productions which is a Christian-based entertainment company focused on family-friendly and uplifting stories focused on the African/Black diaspora.

Adrian Peterson Oropeza earned a BASc in Information Technology at BC. He is a SOC Threat Hunter and a Security Engineer at Compuquip Cybersecurity. Compuquip Cybersecurity is a cybersecurity service provider focused on simplifying security for organizations of all sizes. Adrian specializes in information security architecture/engineering and cyber incident investigations, handling, and forensics. He is also a US veteran and a Mentor for Veterati.

Andres Osuna got his start at BC and earned his A.A. He then continued his education at the University of Florida where he earned his B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Andres is currently working as a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor at PepsiCo, a global food and beverage company.

Victor Parada earned an A.A. at BC, and then went to Florida International University where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. He is a Project Engineer at PCL Construction. PCL is a group of independent construction companies that carries out work across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, and in Australia. Victor is responsible for field and project engineering, quality control, contract administration, shop drawing review, scheduling, and related support functions. He also volunteers at Wahoe Commune India where he teaches English and Math to children ages 5-14.

Knevon Peart earned his A.A. at BC and his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Florida International University. He is a Tool Engineer at Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. Here he initiates strategic work plan and schedule with tool planners and manufacturing engineers to achieve deliverables, leads a team of 10 Tool Engineers to align personnel and resources to deliver contract progress payment milestones and more. He has led tooling efforts on specific programs within Lockheed Martin and serves as the Professional Development Chair on the NSBE chapters executive board.

Argelys got his start at BC and earned his A.A. He started in IT at the age of 14, and founded his first tech business in 2002, while attending Broward College. He assists many nonprofit organizations, implementing valuable technology to support their mission. His company employs 14 employees world-wide.
