Kal Gajraj earned his A.A. at BC and continued his education at DeVry University with a B.S. in Business and an M.B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Keller Graduate School of Management. He is currently working towards earning his Ph.D. at St. Thomas University. Kal is the Communications Director at NationsBenefits, which is a leading supplemental healthcare benefits company committed to maximizing the quality of care and health outcomes for more than 20 million members in the U.S

Eric Gomez earned his A.A. in Marketing at BC. He continued his education at Florida International University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Eric has been a member of the YMCA team for the last seven years. He began his career as an aquatics supervisor, and his thorough skills led him to become an Associate Executive Director.

Broward College Alumni & Friends is proud to recognize Julie Gonne. Julie earned a bachelor’s degree in International Marketing at EPHEC. She then continued her education at Broward College where she earned an A.A. with a focus in Pre-Pharmacy studies. She is a Linguist, Entity Curator, Machine Learning A.I Siri at Apple and Advantis Global. Her role at Apple is to help train their chat bot Siri, perform audio voice recordings to improve Siri’s understanding of the Belgian French locale, improve other products, and more. She is also a Private Tutor at Palm Beach International Academy.

Alongside professional, she is known by her impressionable writing skills, and has earned the respect and gratitude amongst the people in her workforce thanks to the preparation she received at Broward College.

Shaniec earned an A.S. in 2019, an A.A. in 2021 and her BASc in Business Administration and Management in 2022, all from Broward College. She is a Senior Litigation Paralegal at The Law Firm of Gary, Williams, Parenti, Watson, Gary & Gillespie, P.L.L.C.About her time at Broward College, Shaniec says, “Broward College was by far the best experience. Before pursuing a degree, I was in hospitality, but I no longer desired to work in that industry. I have met great people who've turned into friends and had to opportunity to network. I ultimately obtained my first opportunity in the legal field while using the various resources available to the students. Currently, I am a Senior Litigation Paralegal. My next step is law school.”

Dr. Ciera N. Hill earned an AAS at Keiser University, a BASc in Operations Management and Supervision at BC, an MBA at the University of Phoenix, and a Doctor of Business Administration at Capella University. She is a Contract Manager at CareCentrix, which connects patients with the care they need at home, through a national network of over 7,400 credentialed provider locations. Alongside working at CareCentrix she is also an Adjunct Professor of Business at Southern Nazarene University and a Dissertation Chair, Adjunct at California Intercontinental University. Dr. Hill has an ample history of working in the healthcare industry and is skilled in trend analysis, operations management, technical design, contract negotiations, and brand development.

With honors, Claudia earned her associates at Broward College and is now an established attorney. She knowledgeable in the two main legal systems of the world, the Common Law (the United States) and the Civil Law (Latin America, Spain, and other countries). She is also a devoted adjunct professor at Broward College, advocating for the same core values she learned as student today.
