Broward College hosted "Bridges Out of Poverty: Strategies for Professionals and Communities” – this well received lecture featuring Dr. Ruby K. Payne was presented by BankAtlantic on Thursday, October 20 at Bailey Concert Hall on Broward College’s Central Campus. More than 1,000 people and 100 VIP guests attended this inspirational event. Dr. Payne shared “hidden rules” that have become barriers to people who are stuck in their current social and economic classes.
