David Lindemann served on the Broward College Foundation board for more than 22 years and was a tremendous advocate for education. In 1995, Dr. Peggy Turcotte joined Broward College as a professor and program manager and was promoted to the position of Associate Dean of the college's business administration department in 2000. Prior to her passing in July 2011, Dr. Turcotte embraced cultural and experiential diversity and devoted much of her time and energy to Broward College's students, faculty and staff. Lessie Pryor retired from her position as Broward College's RN-BSN Program Manager in August 2010, Ms. Pryor continues to support the educational endeavors of registered nurses who return to Broward College in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in nursing. Florida Wildlife Officer Michelle A. Lawless, former Broward College employee and graduate, died in the line of duty on October 27, 2007, while protecting wildlife in the Florida Everglades. Officer Lawless was a strong believer in protecting and preserving the environment for future generations. More Information
